sin

procedure · 2 overloadsSource

The sine of x in radians, as a float or float64. The result is in [-1, 1]; an infinite or NaN argument gives NaN. Accuracy for very large arguments is only as good as the platform's implementation.

assert(sin(0.0) == 0);
assert(abs(sin(PI / 2) - 1) < 0.00001);
